We are pleased to announce the Season Ticket prices for 2003/4. As you are aware
we are going Full Time from 1st July 2003 in order to build on the consolidation
of our first ever season last year. This decision has not been taken lightly.
Obviously this will increase the costs of the Club considerably but it is the
correct way forward in order for us to achieve all our ambitions. We were
delighted with the support we received last year with Season Ticket sales and we
hope that the fans will support us again in what will be a very important season
for Airdrie.
From discussions we had last year it was apparent that our pricing re children
and youths was not as good as it should have been. We partially rectified this
by issuing refunds during the season. This year we have concentrated the
reductions in that area as the Board firmly believes that the youth are the
future of our club. The majority of comments from the fans confirm this as a
priority to them also. We must do everything we can to foster a strong bond
between the Club and our young supporters.
The prices below reflect that policy. Children under 12 on a Parent and Child
ticket will get free admission reflecting a saving of £100 on last year.
Similarly 12 to 16 years old on a Parent and Child ticket will have a reduction
of 40% on last year.
Unaccompanied youths (13-16) have been reduced by 30% and other concessions by
15%.
Whilst the adult prices remain the same we feel that, with going full time, we
are investing in the future of the Club at a very crucial time. During the year
we will be introducing some special benefits for Adult Season Ticket holders
only, thus giving further value for the ticket.
We would like to think that this Board have earned the trust of the supporters
by being completely open and approachable, as well as accountable. Something
that many say has been sadly lacking in the past. Our hope is that everybody who
had a season ticket last year will renew and be at the heart of the club as we
move to the next level.
We anticipate the tickets being available at the end of this month and will
supply further details shortly. Individuals requiring payment terms should
contact the Club on a one to one basis.
