Winners of the first Airdrie United Supporters Society Trophy, The Scottish Boys Club. The weather stayed good and an excellent day was had.

Firstly let me thank the eight teams who turned up today, we didn't make much money but i think we all had an excellent day and the few mistakes were only minor ones and only added to the occasion (yes my wife is beside me while i write this).

Overall  winners and unbeaten at that were a group of lads who as you can see from the above play for the Scottish Boys Club well done lads and thanks for coming. the main prize of the tournament was a game against an Airdrie United select and this can be sorted out with them at a later date.

Thanks once again to all those who took part and helped organise things.

I have resisted it to long, i have to mention the wooden spoon winners a Motherwell based team Called Pride of Lanarkshire, i will say no more than that. In return though the Motherwell boys have arranged a tournament on the 15th of June and are looking for teams, If you want to enter let Paul know on the Motherwell boards.
