Well it's over season 2002/2003 ends and our first season as Airdrie United is over. We have much to celebrate and only a late goal stopped us from having a massive celebration.

Not going to do a review of yesterdays game other than to say say the boys did good. No player ratings, nothing, we won the battle if not the war and the fight continues with the same board, manager and maybe even some of the same team. An amazing feat for the Airdrie support.

After yesterdays fun day out in Stranraer the table shows the teams we will be keeping afloat next season. I have thought long and hard about the way things turned out yesterday and in some ways glad we are still in the second division. I would have been more then happy to have went up to the first but how good will it feel when we are there as champions and not just runners up.

Full time football next season and the sale of Lottery tickets will allow us to stay strong and supply us with the players to walk through this league and Sandy will have his first silverware. Other than the two awards for manager of the month he has received so far.
