Friday Night Football - The debate

Airdrie played Livingston on Friday the 9th of November and apart from the result the club is claiming the experimant to have been a success but how did you feel about it?

Due to it being my sons birthday and we had already booked a night out I couldn't make it, however as I live locally it wouldn't have bothered me one way or another if the match had been Friday or Saturday.

The club have taken the time to lay out the facts concerning the experiment on the official site click here

So some questions

  • Was it only a success because it was a one off?
  • Does Friday night football cause you any problems attending?
  • Does Friday night football give you a chance to attend games because of commitments on the Saturday?

So what's your thoughts?

Fridays difficult due to work and a hassle. Away games become almost impossible.

Friday nights not good for younger kids.

Would end up watching a.n.other team who do play on a Saturday I'm sure.
