Tarbolton 0-3 AS Airdrie

Airdrie continued there good run of form with a 2nd round win in the West of Scotland cup. A trip to Ayrshire saw the airdrie side come away with a comfartable win against the Ayshire 1st division team.Both manager and coach were absent so the players lookked after themselves.

Airdrie took a first half lead when Scott Lindsay caught a Ross graham throw in full on the volley to bicycle kick the ball into the back of the net, Rowan had a few smart stops to make but airdrie held the lead till half time, Tarbolton came out strongly in the second half but Airdrie struck again when adams was hauled down inside the area and Lindsay dispatched the spot kick. Iain Shaw sealed the game for Airdrie from a long ball out of defence he raced clear and nodded the ball over the stranded keeper for 3-0.

I'm advised it was a great all round team performance and the other point noted was the hospitality of Pizza, Pakora, Kebab meat, Chips, Chicken wings, Pakora sauce. (keeny will be gutted)

Next up for Airdrie is a league match with newly promoted Kelvinbank Star at nethercraigs.
