Jamie Stevenson signs

The Club can confirm that we have concluded the signing of Jamie Stevenson on a contract until the end of the season. Midfielder Jamie joins with immediate effect and will be eligible for Saturday’s game.

 

Jimmy explained “It is no secret that  I have been looking to strengthen the squad with a bit of experience and Jamie has that in abundance. He will be one of our elder statesmen at the tender age of 26. We had looked at him earlier in the season but he had signed a month’s contract with East Stirling to improve his fitness therefore we had to wait until that was over before he was free to sign for us.”

He added “Our young players have performed magnificently so far but we need to ensure that we look after them properly and having Jamie in the squad, with his experience, will also help their development.”

The Club are still actively looking to strengthen the squad further with a bit more experience and are considering a number of options.
