Greenhills Dynamo 1-1 AS Airdrie

Airdrie picked up a well earned point at the Murray

Airdrie took an early lead when a quick throw in saw Gray Kenny Pardoe and Edgar combine to set up Edgar for a shot which was turned away for a corner. Kenny Pardoe swung a great cross in that Scott Lindsay met six yards out to head Airdrie in front. Airdrie had chances to increas there lead as they were the stronger side in the first half, Smith's driving run from midfield lead to a cross which was half cleared Ian Shaw tried a spectacular overhead kick but was just off target. Gray and Lindsay had chances firing just over from the edge of the box. Greenhills got back in the game as a cross was met by Scott Graham who could only help it past Rowan for an OG. Half time 1-1

Greenhills had most of the play in the second half but Airdrie always dangerous on the counter, a couple of injuries forced airdrie's hand and Capladi replced Lindsay on 55 minutes and Clark for Robertson on 70 minutes. Brady replace K.Pardoe on 75 minutes but neither side could make the breakthrough and the game ended all square.

A fair result on balance of play and some good performances all over the park from Airdrie. Scott Graham was outstanding at the back after the set back of the OG he got his head down and never put a foot wrong there after.
