I have yet to see Airdrie lose at this ground and many great games have been played there, Being promoted with Evan Balfour scoring in a 1-0 win, Paul Harvey destroying them 4-1 in the 95 cup run, Kenny Black scoring from 50 yards out, These are just some of the good times had by us in Kirkaldy in recent times lets hope it continues.

Raith Facts and Figures.

Raith Rovers were formed in 1883 as a junior club they turned senior in 1889 and were admitted to the Scottish second division in 1902/03.Their first season saw them finish second bottom of the league which was won by...yes you guessed it ..Airdrie.

Raith have come a long way since then and like ourselves have had a taste of European competition going down to the mighty Bayern Munich, winning the league cup and a few seasons in the top flight but hard times have returned to Kirkaldy and they find themselves in the second division. They have turned to former Airdrie favorite Antonio Calderon for inspiration lets hope it doesn't come just yet although there should be goals as so far from 25 second division games there has been only one 0-0 score this season.
