Supporters representative selected

As advertised in saturdays official match program, tonight a supporters representative was selected to take their place on the board of Airdrie United.

Congratulations to Veronica Macgregor and well done to the other four members of the support who put themselves forward for the position.

Each of the nominees had to give a speech on themselves and where they hoped to take the support, after this the fans present in the hall voted.

Not wanting to drag things out the winner was announced as Veronica who now takes up her position for a full year.

I'm sure Veronica will represent the views of all Airdrie support.

The Next meeting will be held the first Wednesday in October.

Les Jones, who chaired as he said, his last meeting gave his thanks to everyone at the meeting and to those who have given him their support over the last 4 years.
