McLaren a Saintee

As transfer speculation mounts for almost every team in Britain never mind the Scottish Football League Airdrie have released press statement on the official site.

Willie McLaren has left us to join Owen Coyle's revolution at St Johnstone, St Johnstone sit 4th in the Scottish First Division and they hope to take the battle for promotion to Gretna.

Airdrie hopes that the funds from this transfer will enable them to bring players in and strengthen our current squad.

Willie played 93 games for us and scored 24 goals for us and for someone who is still only 21 that is not bad going by any standard.

The Broomfield Stomp would like to wish Willie Good luck in his chosen path and would ask Owen Coyle to focus his attentions on other teams.
