All this was disclosed by Hibs MD Rod Perie who said: "The club recognises season ticket holders are our most loyal supporters and we’ve been listening to what they’ve had to say. "We know a lot of them feel they lost out when walk-up prices for televised category A games were discounted to try to counteract the negative impact on attendances of live TV coverage. "That meant walk-up fans enjoyed discounts, while the club’s most loyal supporters, the season ticket holders, did not. The new package ensures that issue is addressed, and that all season tickets will represent major savings on walk-up prices, in some cases more than 30 per cent." Walk-up prices have been frozen for the third consecutive season, but Petrie insisted that all fans, from the youngest to the oldest, would benefit substantially by buying a season ticket, particularly if they do so early.
