Brittain out for the season

Sons promotion bid has been hit by a new unexpected series of blows.  Left back and previous player of the year winner Craig Brittain is out for the rest of the season with a groin strain while Robert Dunn will be out of Saturday's match with East Fife with a strained hamstring.

To make matters worse Kevin McCann will make his last appearance of the season tomorrow before being suspended for the remainder of the campaign.
It is expected that John Dillon will take Brittain's place in the Sons defence while Craig Lynes will be given Robert Dunn's starting berth.

With Davie Stewart out after his accident and Jamie Bruce quitting Sons will be left with only two recognised central defenders for the remainder of the season - Stevie Jack and John McKeown.

Lets hope we have no more injury or suspension worries in these last four games.
