Manchester United return to Premier League action on Saturday following the international break. The Red Devils will be under pressure to maintain their superb early season form against Bolton Wanderers in a tough Lancashire derby at the Reebok Stadium. 

Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to start Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez in attack following Danny Welbeck's injury. 

Nemanja Vidic remains unavailable for United through injury, whilst the game will come too quickly for Rio Ferdinand - with the England centre-back expected to return for next week's Champions League tie with Benfica.

Recent Bolton signings David Ngog, Dedryck Boyata and Gael Kakuta are all hoping to make their debuts for the home side.

Owen Coyle's men have won only one of their opening three league games. They won 4-0 in style on the opening day of the season at QPR, but have since suffered defeats to rivals Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Trotters also secured safe passage into the third round of the Carling-sponsored League Cup, with a nervy 2-1 win over Macclesfield Town. 

United take a 100% record into the game and will be eager to build on the jaw-dropping 8-2 hammering of Arsenal prior to the international break.

The bookies price up the visitors as clear favourites - with the best available odds around the 4/9 mark on a United win. Bolton to win at home is arguably good value at 8/1, despite United's stunning attacking form.
