Hull are set to open talks with Fulham Striker Bobby Zamora. Fulham have accepted a £5 million bid for the striker and he will begin talks when he returns from Australia where he is currently with Fulham doing pre-season training. Hull have missed out on a number of Strikers this summer with Michael Owen, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Frazier Campbell all choosing other clubs.
Zamora joined Fulham from West Ham last summer but scored only two goals in 35 league appearances for the Cottagers.
The former England Under-21 international made his name with Brighton but he failed to establish himself after a move to Tottenham.
He joined West Ham in February 2004 and scored 40 goals in all competitions for the Upton Park club.
