Hull take on Blackburn on Sunday at Noon looking to finally get their 1st Premiership win of the Year. The Tigers have not won in the league since before Christmas and find themselves in 13th place just 4 points off the relegation zone. Blackburn find themselves in 19th a win though would take them within 3 points of Hull. With both sides battling for points it could be a heated affair. Team News

Hull City could be without Ian Ashbee who has a slight calf injury. Caleb Folan is a is doubt a groin strain but Craig Fagan is in contention after knee surgery. Jimmy Bullard and George Boateng remain long-term injuries

Blackburn could be without midfielders Vince Grella and David Dunn are both doubts and will be given late fitness tests. Sam Allardyce is set to make wholesale changes from the defeat against Coventry.

Phil Brown:

"I'm looking forward to the game, it will be a great spectacle between two teams who are committed to winning," he continued.

"We'll both be going for the jugular for 90 minutes. I can't see any team pulling out of tackles, challenges or headers.

"I think there will be a little claret spilled because there will be that much commitment on show.

"But that is a typical Hull City performance and if Blackburn can match that, then we are in for a good game."

Sam Allardyce:

I won't have time for a drink with Phil," stated Allardyce. "We need to get something from Hull. Winning is all that matters.

"Phil knows as well as I do that the first 10 games in the Premier League can make or break you, and they made him.

"He's only had one win in 17 but Hull are still mid-table, whereas I've lost two in eight in the league and I'm still in the bottom three!

"We need to get something from Hull, so it's a huge game for us."

Relegation is now a serious possibility and the Manager and Board seem clueless on how to stop it!!!

Clueless !!!

totally Clueless!

Brown didn't buy the right players in Jan

He brought in a Crock in Bullard

Kilbane who is a wide player you have garcia Halmosi Ricketts !!! loads of cover on the left .

upfront he got rid of King and Windass and brough in a second rate striker in Manucho!

he should've brought in a 5 mil striker then we probably wouldn't be in this mess.

Goals are everything and we aint scoring enough

Duke made a terrible mistake by the sounds of it for the rovers 1st goal today.

And Clearly Myhill was lacking form.

However of we do go down i expect a newly promoted Team could have a look at a few of them
