Form Coming back?

Hull manager Phil Brown Believes Geovanni is close to Recapturing his early season form after a good display against Chelsea. Geovanni started the season in great form, Scoring on his debut against Fulham as well as scoring wonder goals against Tottenham and Arsenal, This form Helped Hull up to 3rd in the table after 9 games but since then his form has dipped.

“He was my last selection headache,” he told the club’s official website.

“He reached some great highs at the start of the season and, by his own admission, he hasn’t quite reached those highs in the last few weeks.

“I’m only after hard work from Geovanni. The brilliant skill will follow.

“He had a job to do on Mikel and he played off that quite successfully.”

Brown Also feels Hull could have got more then a point on Saturday

"Whether or not you think it would have been fair, we could have nicked it,” he said.

“The best chances of the game fell to us. We hit a post with a Kevin Kilbane header and, on a good day, Craig Fagan could have walked away with a hat-trick.

“The work-rate of the team on Saturday was just astounding. I’m very proud as a manager to have come here and tried to take Chelsea on.”
