Hull Travel to St James Park for a replay of their FA cup third round. The two sides met 11 days ago at the KC the score that day ended 0-0 since then Hull have gone on to lose in the league to Everton as their poor league form continued and Newcastle drew 2-2 with West Ham. With both sides concentrated on avoiding relegation the two managers might be temped to make a few changes.
Team News
Hull are still without Anthony Gardner Andy Dawson, Bryan Hughes is also out Caleb Folan is back in Contention, Kamil Zayette who is suspended against Arsenal is likely to start and peter Halmosi is expected to take some part in the game. Nathan Doyle and Ryan France could also have run outs.
Newcastle are without 11 1st team players,Andy Carroll and Shola Ameobi have joined Mark Viduka, Obafemi Martins.
Geremi, Jose Enrique, Steven Taylor, Cacapa, Habib Beye,Joey Barton and Alan Smith. Kazenga LuaLua could start up front with Michael Owen. Tamas Kadar, Mark Doninger and Jonny Godsmark are likely to feature Nikcy Butt is also back from suspension.
"We've got a fair sized squad so we will be making changes.
"We'll be going there with the mentality that we can win the game and take that confidence into our league game with Arsenal."
Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear:
"We are just in a position where we have got 11 key players missing, so it is impossible for me to even think about selling anybody else.
"We would only weaken our team and weaken our opportunities of survival."
All competitions
Hull have already played Newcastle at St James' Park in the Premier League this season. Marlon King scored in each half as the Tigers won 1-2 on 13 September. Xisco got a late consolation for the Magpies.
FA Cup
This is the sixth time these clubs have been drawn together in the FA Cup. Newcastle lead 4-1, and are chasing a hat-trick of victories.
