Welsh joins Carlisle on 1 month loan

Midfielder John Welsh has joined League 1 side Carlisle on a one month loan deal. Welsh could make his Carlisle debut tomorrow night against Hartlepool. Welsh is yet to make an appearance for The Tigers this season."He is a holding midfielder who can help to steady things up in the middle of the park," manager John Ward told the Carlisle official club website. "I feel that we need a bit more cover in that area at the moment."
Welsh has found his chances with Hull limited after breaking his leg in a match against Preston in 2007, and spent part of last season on loan at Chester.
