Airdrie missed an early chance to take the lead as Gray was barged over inside the box after Clark's quick throw in. Scott Lindsay opted for power on the spot kick but the VP keepers trailing leg deflected it away. Airdrie did take the lead 7 minjutes from Half time as Cooper rose highest to nod home another Clark throw in.

Ian Shaw had more of an influence in the second half and after a brilliant run his shot was just off target. With 15 minutes remaining Victoria Park equalised as a shot deflected off Smith past Rowan, a lifetime of OG's this season. Shaw created Airdrie's second goal with a strong run, this time his cut back was fired home by kenny Pardoe. Pardoe should have increased Airdrie's lead as he found space to work his way into the box, Clearly being pulled back he shrugged off the offender but fired wide from 8 yards. With minutes to go a long hopefull punt was dreadfully misjudged by Robertson which left Rowan exposed and Park nipped in for an equaliser to end the game at 2-2
