Ince back in April?

Paul Ince

Former Dons manager Paul Ince has been linked to the vacant Brighton and Hove Albion job, as he looks to get back in to management following his sacking as Blackburn Rovers manager. If Ince was to be appointed, he would return to stadium:mk for Brighton's visit to Milton Keynes in April. The man who took the Dons to the League Two and Johnstone's Paint Trophy double has had his reputation destroyed by a disastrous spell in the Premier League with Blackburn, but his struggle to get back into work still comes as a surprise, considering the success he enjoyed in Milton Keynes.

Ince was made an early favourite by bookmakers Victor Chandler but today Jim Gannon has emerged as a likely replacement for the sacked Micky Adams. And with no disrespect to Gannon, who is doing very well on a limited budget at Stockport County, it does, sadly, show how Ince has fallen after he was being touted around for just about every Championship job going while at the Dons.

Brighton visit stadium:mk on Saturday 4th April, and I would love to see Incey back in the dugout. Just as long as he doesn't take any points off us.
