Hull In Fight For Boselli?

Hull along with the likes of Blackburn,West Ham and Wigan are said to be in the chase to sign Estudiantes Mauro Boselli The 24-year-old Argentine striker has been linked with a move to Manchester City last season. The player finished top scorer in Copa Libertadores with 8 goals and scored in the final against Cruzeiro of Brazil Boselli Holds an Italian Passport and therefore would not need a work permit to play in England the player's British representative Barry McIntosh confirmed there was substantial interest in the player.

"Mauro is one of the best strikers in Argentina and it is little surprise there is such interest in him," he told skysports.com.

"We cannot go into details at this point, but a move before the transfer window shuts does look possible."

Boselli started his career with Boca Juniors before he moved to Malaga B, after a season with Malaga B he returned to Boca where he failed to become a regular He was always behind Martín Palermo and Argentina World Cup player Rodrigo Palacio. In 2008 he signed for Estudiantes and has scored 10 goals in 25 appearances.
