Myhill Not Making China Trip

Goalkeeper Boaz Myhill will not travel to Beijing this week after he picked up a thumb injury against North Ferriby United in the 1st of Hull's pre-season games . He will miss the Asia trophy but he should be fit for the start of the season and the friendly against Aberdeen.

"Boaz has injured his thumb and will not be travelling to Beijing," said City boss Phil Brown.

"Hopefully he'll be back in training on the Monday or Tuesday when we return from China in time for the Aberdeen game."

Hull will have goalkeeping cover as Tony Warner and Matt Duke are both expected to travel
