Hull To Move for Newcastle Midfielder

Hull are said to be weighing up a move for Newcastle United Midfielder Joey Barton. Reports in some Saturday morning Papers claim Hull could offer up to £3 million fro the former Manchester City Star. The stumbling block for a move is whether he would even consider a move to Hull after if is though he would prefer a move to Everton or Aston Villa.

Toon are even prepared to pay part of his wages to get him off their books. Barton is reportedly on £60,000 a week and with Newcastle Chipping in £20,000 Hull would still have to find £40,000 for the troubled 26 year old.

Barton is said to want a 3 year contract, Newcastle paid Manchester City £5.8m for Barton two years ago.
