Dean Marney signs new contract

Midfielder Dean Marney has signed a new contract with the Tigers. The 24-year-old's present deal was due to expire at the end of this season but a new contract will keep him at the KC stadium until July 2012. "It's nice to get things sorted out. There was never any doubt that I wanted to stay," he told Hull's website. "We're a Premier League club and I would be mad to think about leaving. I'm settled here now." My initial deal was due to be up next summer, so it's nice to get things sorted out and now I can just concentrate on trying to stay in the team,"
