Morrison Wins Legal Fight

Peter Morrison has been awarded a £400,000 compensation pay out following a tackle which ended his promising career five years ago. The former Wanderers youngster was playing in a match for Scunthorpe United reserves against Grimsby in the 2000-2001 season when a horror tackle from opposing full back Ben Chapman left him with multiple fractures to his leg.

Now 25, Morrison has built his life back up again and is a part of a successful football agency which deals with a number of top clients who ply their trade in the Premiership.

He was a regular name in the Bolton reserve side from 1998 to 2000 and played alongside a number of big names including Eidur Gudjohnsen, Dean Holdsworth, Keith Branagan and Ricardo Gardner.
