Sam Allardyce is hoping to turn draws into wins as he aims to take Bolton Wanderers into the Champions League at the end of the season. The Wanderers have won just one league game so far this year with the last two games ending in draws due to the team conceding late goals but Allardyce is remaining positive that his side can achieve a fourth place league placing in May.

"Fourth spot at the end of the season could be up for grabs and it is important that we start picking up wins, If we are going to sustain our push for a Champions League place, then we have to start turning draws into wins." said the Bolton boss to the official site.

Allardyce knows that his side have two games in hand on their Premiership rivals and says that this advantage could make a huge difference to how the chase for European football pans out.

"If we are still around the mix when our two games in hand come up then we will have a chance. It would be a massive achievement for this club if we were among the front runners for that fourth spot.

"Maybe this is the year we can take advantage of the vulnerability of some of the top clubs."
