Javier Hernandez is reportedly back in training after his agent revealed that his ankle injury was not as bad as initially feared. The Mexican frontman was taken off during United's 3-1 win over Chelsea following a nasty challenge from defender Ashley Cole.

There were fears after the game that the on-form striker would be sidelined for two weeks.

However, his agent Eduardo Hernandez has revealed that the problem is "just a bump".

Sir Alex Ferguson described Cole's tackle as "shocking" after the game.

The news comes as a boost to United, with the 23-year-old recently scoring two important goals in the 5-0 demolition of rivals Bolton Wanderers.
