Today we see the arrival to New Broomfield of Hamilton our local rivals, still not a derby mainly due to their terrible travelling support but local none the less.

Preview For Saturday, 29th

I have avoided speaking about the Ross County until now but it's probably time to get this off my chest. I was totally disgusted by the attitude of our players on Monday night not only because of the lack of fight during the display but mainly for the lack of recognition tat fans who had made the effort to travel up and support them were ignored at he end of the game. No applause for turning up, no thank you for our support even when the team were putting in a quarter (if that ) shift. Fine they were pissed off but what would be the reaction if the fans decided " Well they didn't show us any respect so why should we turn up to support them" It won't happen thank god but even to suggest such a thing shows how annoyed I was.

On to today's match, late fitness tests are going to be given to Stephen Docherty out with a groin strain and the ever departing Alan Gow who Does have a hamstring pull all you rumour mongers in Dingwall take heed. We are still with out Kevin Christie who seems to be out with a groin strain that is taking a while to settle down.

Sandy, Airdrie and the fans need a good win today, after the performance on Monday night I think confidence hit an all time low. Our only consolidation the fact that a few weeks ago we stole three points from Ross County in the league. This has got to be a game we take three points from nothing else will do.

 Airdrie Possible starting Line Up

Mark McGeown
Stephan Docherty
, Alan McManus, Neil McGowan. Paul Lovering
Mark Roberts, Marvyn Wilson, Martin Hardie, Willie McLaren,
Owen Coyle, Alan Gow.

Personally after Monday nights performance that structure would change. Assuming Alan Gow and Stephen Docherty can't play.

Mark McGeown
Willie Wilson
, Alan McManus, Neil McGowan. Paul Lovering
Marvyn Wilson, Martin Hardie, David Dunn,
Mark Roberts, Owen Coyle, Willie McLaren.

I'm going to say that Mark Roberts is in there on merit he is the only player that came through Monday's game with any credit.

 Opponents News

Hamilton have brought in a few players during the January window the main one seeming to be Piquito from Raith Rovers. Alan Maitland also has the return of Steve Convery to boost his squad for this match. Still ruled out for today's game are Derek Ferguson, Scott Tunbridge and Mark McLaughlin.

Having dropped back in to the relegation zone along with Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers Maitland must be hoping to continue his record at New Broomfield having beaten us 2-0 here earlier in the season. Our own home form has not be that bad so lets hope we can stop them repeating the feat.

Hugh Dallas

Games: 22 Yellow Cards: 54 Red Cards: 3

I don't think i have to remind you of the last time Hugh Dallas took control of one of our games. For me it is the best we have performed all season and the best game I have seen. Our home win over St Mirren (3 Vs. 2). I wonder if we will be focussing on the game tonight or whether Mr Dallas will be hogging the lime light.

 Prediction

This has got a draw written all over it, both teams on crap runs needing points on the board. Were either in for a goal fest or a bore draw. Still hope for an Airdrie win 2-0
