What’s the difference between the South Pole and Broadwood? One is a God forsaken frozen barren wilderness and the other is the southernmost point on earth. For ninety minutes the rain poured and the wind howled and to make matters worse our hosts displayed a brand of football that would make Wimbledon look a good footballing side. This was not the start to the new year that I expected from the Diamonds as Clyde have been one of the least impressive sides that I have seen all season but now I understand why they are second in the league. They may not be nice to watch but there style is effective. How Clyde fans can suffer this week in and week out is beyond me no wonder their attendances are so low I would much rather be entertained and suffer the odd defeat than watch the claptrap that the Bully Wee serve up every week .Not for the first time this season we dominated the proceedings but lacked the killer instinct. This could be down to the fact that we have had to play three games in the one week over the festive period and some players maybe in need of a rest. Sandy has said all along that he would never change a winning team well that’s two defeats in three games. I will be expecting changes for our visit to Dingwall this week. I think its time Jerome was given a starting berth and as his contract is up this summer I’m sure he will be out to impress.
