By The Stomp Team Date: 21/11/2000 Steve Archibald was fined yesterday when he attended his SFA disciplinary hearing. The Airdrie boss was due to attend the hearing in September but was unable to due to urgent business matters. There is also no action likely to be taken against Calderon in an incident on Sunday.

Steve Archibald has been fined £500 by the SFA for his touchline outbursts, the most noticeable at Tannadice in the CIS Cup. As far as we can gather at The Stomp, Archibald will not receive a touchline ban. Antonio Calderon looks to be in the clear over a spitting incident in Sunday's challenge cup final win. Calderon was accused of spitting on a Livingston player but it was not witnessed by any officials and unlikely to be in ref, John Rowbotham's report. An SFA spokesman said that they have had no report of the incident and no action will be taken.
