The third match of this years league season sees Airdrie travelling to take on Hamilton at New Douglas Park, last season we took two points from a possible twelve in matches against Hamilton and Sandy Stewart will be hoping not to repeat this.

Sandy Stewart has problems throughout the team Neil McGowan went off in the first half of our game versus Alloa, Mark Roberts followed him shortly afterwards with a slight hamstring pull, and then we have long term injuries to Lee Gardner groin strain and  Stephen McKeown with ankle damage, thankfully,  it is not as bad as first reported and instead of the estimated six weeks, Stephen should be able to return within three.

Subs: Scott Wilson, who after a good game on Saturday may be looking for a first team start.

Darren Miller; Constant sub never selected, players like Paul Ronald being selected long before the youth of the team.

David Dunn; Seems to have fallen out of favour with Sandy.

Paul Ronald; Everyone knows what to expect from him, gives his all in every game.

Airdrie have won three of the first four games of the season a good start for any team but Hamilton as usual will be a good test.

After two League games Hamilton sit joint bottom after loosing their first two games to Forfar and Berwick. David McEwan on loan to Hamilton from Livingston has impressed the support, but they will have to be on good form to hold off the Diamonds this season.
