With unconfirmed stories that Sandy Stewart has won the managers of the month award for March, Airdrie United travel to Berwick looking for three points to continue in the race for second spot in the league.

It is the second meeting between the two clubs in just over a fortnight the last Airdrie United won convincingly 2-0 at New Broomfield, with goals from Jerome Varielle and Martin Glancy.

Sandy has good news as far as the squad is concerned and probably some selection head aches after the one each draw with league leaders Raith last week. Marvin Wilson and Neil McGowan return to the squad and Scott Wilson is expected to be fully fit after a slight hamstring tear.

Berwick Rangers manager Paul Smith has three players taking late fitness tests, ex-Diamond Tony Smith, Darren Smith and Keith Brown all are rated 50/50. Definitely out are Mark McCormick and Martin Neil.

This league is so open that we are sitting in forth place in the league and only six points in either direction can mean promotion or relegation.
