Tonights friendly match between The stomp all stars and the Young B ended in a victory for the youngsters, this is the true account of the game...

Stomp all stars 2-13(ish) The young B

This 5-aside challenge match started off brightly with both sides passing about being cagey, after 10 mins the young b took the lead with a great 20 yarder from atkin(i think) this prompted the young b to take control of the game and they soon raced into a seven goal lead, the all stars created few chances until trialist Dalziel pierro hit the post after some neat work, but with Trenchie wearing his mammy's slippers it looked a lost cause, one particular instance was a fortunate charge up the park by the big bin man which led to a shooting chance, but under no pressure at all he stood on the ball and fell flat on his face, during the howls of laughter from his team mates the young b added a further few goals, it was looking like a whitewash until silky play led to myself rifiling home from 7 yards in typical Owen Coyle style, the game was over and a few rash challenges were commited by the ever happless Trenchie Brannigan, the youngsters added a few more and Humo restored a little pride with a drive from ooh well over 50 yards!!(ok he paid me to say that it was about 12)all in all The young B look good for the tourney and with a few more pints I'm sure the all stars will pick them selves up.
