After the recent slip-up to Elgin Dumbarton have the chance to partly make amends in a game we cannot afford to lose.  Sons can go four points clear and put the pressure back on Peterhead as they would then play their game in hand the following week.

Sons kicked off the season with a 4-2 win over the Shire with goals from Flannery, O'Neill, Robertson and Bonar although Shires trialist goalie was Sons real hero that day with a disastrous performance. East Stirling 2 Dumbarton 4

At The Rock in October Sons a Paddy Flannery double could only gain Sons a single point as the promotion campaign stuttered. Dumbarton 2 East Stirling 2.

Sons got revenge for those dropped points just last month as Crilly and McCann gave Sons a come from behind win in a narrow 2-1 victory.  Dumbarton 2 East Stirling 1.

The Opposition - East Stirling
East Stirling are allegedly moving to Grangemouth at some point although this is still not confirmed.  It looks like they would like to write-off this season as they have struggled badly - although this would typically set us up for a fall which we most certainly can't afford.
