Hull eye Bent

Bent in action

The News of the World today reported that manager Phil Brown could be eyeing up a loan move for Tottenham striker Darren Bent. Bent came on as a substitute to score twice in Tottenham's 3-2 defeat to Bolton Yesterday but that hasn't stopped speculation linking the player with a move away from White Hart Lane. Bent signed for Tottenham for a fee of £16.5 million on 29 June 2007. He has made 49 appearances for the club scoring 22 goals. Bent also has 4 caps for the full England team. Bent would add more fire power up front as Hull are struggling for goals and wins.
