EVERTON CRASH OUT OF EUROPE........

Everton went crashing out of the Europa League in horrendous style last night in Lisbon.

After playing so well in the last couple of months,the Blues just didnt turn up last night and it seemed Moyes got all his tactics wrong,Everton looked as if they were happy trying to play for a 0-0 draw that would of seen them through.

Sporting Lisbon were having none of that and basically were all over us from start to finish,we were all watching it gobsmacked,3 goals in the last 27 mins ended all our hopes for a trip to Athletic Madrid.

Were was the free flowing football that we have been playing of late?

How can a team suddenly not turn up on the night after our morale has been at an all time high?

We will probably never know why it happened,we seemed just bottle it against a side that in my opinion are average,Sporting Lisbon totally deserved to win the tie,because they approached it in the right manner.

This competition was a last thing to go for and it's now just a pipe dream,lets hope the lads dont have a hangover from this and get there heads together in the league and try and reach this competition again next year,there is nothing like European nights,apart from last night obviously!!
