Tyrone Mings in Profile

Young defender who signed for Town fron Non-League side Chippenham Town on a one and a half year contract after impressing in a behind closed doors game against the Nike Academy.

Mings, who can play at left back or a left sided centre back, began his career at Southampton alongside current England and Arsenal star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain  

During his time at Chippenham, he played alongside former Town player Russell Osman's son, Toby, who it is understood played a part in bringing 6ft 3in Mings to Portman Road.
