Bournemouth are the visitors to Molineux for Wolves first home game of the restarted season, and they will know it will be a difficult challenge for them to return to the South coast with any points.
Nuno Espirito Santo takes his team into this game on a high after an excellent win at West Ham in Wolves first restart game at West Ham on Saturday, which saw Raul Jimenez break the record for Wolves goals scored in the Premier League with his goal, and a superb left footed volley smashed into the net by Pedro Neto for a 2 - 0 win. Bournemouth fared less well in their first game back, losing 0 - 2 at home to Crystal Palace. Nuno will be hoping for three points tonight and for Man United to lose or draw at home to Sheffield United which would see Wolves leap into 5th place in their own right.
In his pre-mach online press conference Nuno has declared a fully fit squad but also showed his usual respect to his opponents saying that it will be a very difficult game. We wonder whether, following their success after coming on as subs on Saturday there will be starting places for Traore or Neto, and whether Ruben Vinagre or Daniel Podence will get a chance during the game.
The game coincides with three other matches at 18:00 hrs this evening and will be screened by BT Sport 2. Unfortunately there are no pubs open to go and watch it in, so those of us without BT Sport will have to try other means to access it.
Our referee will be Michael Oliver for his third game since the restart.
This board will endeavour to provide regular updates on the progress of the game for the benefit of those unable to watch it, and board members are encouraged to post their own observations.
Foul on Jota just inside their area, but time for drinks before free kick can be taken. A fair game so far with B’mouth playing quite well. Quality not seeming to be affected by lack of a crowd. Crowd effect noise is quite prominent over the incessant ramblings of ?Russian commentators!!
Saiss booked for a foul on Stanislas that two yellows in two games for him. Too much play in our half at the moment and our attacks are fizzling out to easily.
Absolutely scintillating Adama 40-50 yard run cynically brought to an end by a Bournemouth professional foul. The resultant Neves free kick went sky high and not very handsome

Adama earns a corner but cleared. Evening Ivy glad there’s someone else out there. Great run by Adama bearing 7 players before being tripped by Brookes who gets a yellow. Neves blasts the free kick too high. Free kick after Jota brought down & Cook is booked. Joao puts it in nicely & goalie makes a mess of it but survives.

Funny match so far. Signs we might be waking up but no real flow as yet and despite that maisey run , Adama hasn’t quite got involved like Saturday ...... not his fault, service hasn’t been up to it.
Great run by Jota to set up Adama , who finds space and blasts it high & wide.
I would agree Ivy it’s a very bitty game so far with Bournemouth presenting their share of threats. Some poor decisions up front particularly from eves, Jota and Adama with joe real threat from us on their goal. Five yellow cards issued in first half so we npmight need to tread carefully in the 2nd half
We definitely livened up in the latter part of that half, certainly in attack. Right at the death, Adama hit a shot of force over the bar which culminated from a very decent attack.
0-0 it is again at HT. How many Project Restart matches are finishing Up 0-0 at HT? Quite a few!
Here we go again and already the two best crosses of the game from Adama but strikers unable to connect. Jonny brought down on the edge of their box Joao to take - safely collected by Ramsdale. Down to our box & Stacey earns a corner with a good run. Billing replaced by Gosling for Bmouth. Rui in command in his area
Great ball from CC to find Adama and good cross from him. Cipulminates with another blast over the bar from Neves - his eye isn’t in so far this evening
Good break by Raul who feeds Jota - he goes down in the area clutching his foot but nothing given. I’m pretty sure these commentators are Portuguese you know, not Russian!!
Neto looks up for it! Drinks time again. Bournemouth make three substitutions, Lerma Brooks & Stanislas off, Harry Wilson Solanke and Danjuma on. Smith & Adama go head to head for handbags but no problem - it was a good challenge! Donk to replace Adama
Fifteen minutes plu AT to play. We really need another goal to seal this game, B’ mouth are getting back into it !t the moment. Good break into their area by Neto, his shot is deflected over the bar for a corner. Lo,is of head tennis then we get another corner, Boly meets it with a shot and brings a good save.
Good break by Raul with Neto alongside but Raul’s pass is poor & cut out. Corner to B’mouth leads to shot from outside the area but well wide. 7 minutes to go plus AT. Neto takes a blow to the face on the line as he turns with the ball. Free kick for Joao to take goes for a throw in to us.
We are sitting more deeper since Traore went off. Inviting pressure a bit but giving us a chance for the counter. Having said that we’ve just had a good spell of possession
Ramsdale comes right out of his area to head a clearance, Donk tries from distance but is wide.
Action in our area before a long throw which Rui deals with. Neto breaks unchallenged and puts it wide with only the goalie to beat.
That’s it we wind 1 - 0 in an unremarkable match , but through another superb goal combination from Adama & Raul. This will keep the pressure on Man Utd for 5th place. Hard luck on B’mouth - they tried hard but were pretty toothless up front. Only shame is I was going to forecast 1 - 0 and forgot to do so!!!
Wolves 1 Bournemouth 0
Well we gained three points without dominating the game. No standout performances tonight though all did their job well. Neto always brings a smile from me when he comes on, fearless, skilful and always full of attacking energy.
Certainly a better second half. Fantastic header for the goal. Coady's long passes from the back are second to none and Saiss won some good headers in that second half. Bournemouth gave it their all I suppose but didn't look like scoring.
Despite the disappointing first half, two wins and two clean sheets since the re-start so can't complain.
Hi everyone - was on a Zoom quiz at the same time - kept checking my phone - I'm sure people thought I was cheating - still, our team only came third so...
Another three points - I did think we might get more tonight, but not too dismayed.
