Good article Chesh, one of a few in similar style that the official site has been producing, all good reads.

Parkin was brilliant and exemplified all that was good about our 1970s side. Fond memories for me of that era, and he is one of a dozen plus names that trip off the tongue. But none of them played more times for our club ..... a true Wolves legend in every sense.

609 appearances and would have been a load more if not for that heart condition. Along with Kenny Hibbitt, the most consistent player we've had in the last 50 years. Will never understand how Nish, Pejic, Lindsay all played left-back for England and he didn't.
