Wolves are in Turkey ready to face Besiktas for the first ever time tonight in the next stage of their Europa League adventure.
Coach Nuno Espirito Santo hopes to build on the confidence-boosting win over Watford on Saturday and see Wolves establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in this competition. Both teams will be hoping to put their opening losses behind them from two weeks ago. Wolves will surely see some changes to personel for tonight's game, in view of the upcoming visit to the Etihad on Sunday, and will definitely be without striker Diogo Jota who is still struggling with a toe injury.
This board will hopefully carry a commentary of the game for those unable to follow it, and board members are encouraged to post their observations as the game progresses. Please remember that kick-off is at 17:55 hrs GMT

Quote:I think probably so too Angry, but also that we shouldn't underestimate the Turks. They have Liverpool's Karius in goal tonight.an angry wolf
I think this has 1-1 all over it

Isnt Karius the ex Liverpool keeper that cost them the CL final a bit back? The Turkish league is generally poor but Besiktas have an excellent home record in it- that said the only thing they are proficient at is harassing western women and flogging flea ridden mats to some poor soul wandering around the markets so I expect a result. I would have preferred to see Traore start and despite decent performances he continually gets left out of starting lineups for some reason... if he is being " rested" why aren't others.

MGW just had a great opportunity to feed Raul but blew it. He has only been on the ball twice and hasn't produced a pass yet. however don't want to judge him at this stage of the game.
