Stranraer have played Whitehill Welfare a total of (Any Ideas?)

A previous encounter between the two teams in 1993 proved to be a difficult tie for the Blues with the East of Scotland side taking us to a replay. In the first match at Stair Park, Welfare were 3-1 up with around 12 minutes left, then the Blues scored two late goals to take the tie to a replay at Ferguson Park. Four goals from Tommy Sloan insured that the Blues progressed in the competition. Last Saturday Willie Bennett scored for Whitehill and then Michael Moore replied for the Blues.

Stranraer are still without long-term casualty David Farrell and manager Billy McLaren hints that he will "shift and shake" his team. He said: "The heavy park didn't suit us last week and, if anything, their pitch looks better than ours."

Injury Worries: Whitehill manager Dave Smith said: "Stranraer will expect to play better and we know we can play better, so it will be a hard game."
