Sky announce first televised games

Sky have announced the fixtures to be shown live in their first month back as Nationwide League broadcasters. Don't get your hopes up though. I think as time goes on we'll see why we're getting such a bum deal out of the TV rights. The first month of live football in the Nationwide from Sky see's not one game from Divisions 2 or 3. They may have helped out clubs up and down the country with the new deal but the exposure of second and third division clubs seems to be decreasing. Maybe it's a good thing? Our record in front of the cameras is about as good as our away form was last season. Sky may claim to be the new saviour of football, but still no exposure for the lower divisions. The fixtures to be shown are as follows:

Game Date Time
Walsall v Ipswich Town Saturday 10th August 5:35pm
Bradford City v Wolverhampton Wanderers Sunday 11th August 4:30pm
Reading v Sheffield Wednesday Tuesday 13th August 7:45pm
Stoke City v Leicester City Wednesday 14th August 7:45pm
Grimsby Town v Derby County Saturday 17th August 5:35pm
Watford v Coventry City Monday 26th August 1:00pm
Coventry City v Nottingham Forest Saturday 31st August 5:35pm
Sheffield Wednesday v Sheffield United Sunday 1st September 12 noon
