Former U's defender Kevin Austin is set to join fellow Division 3 side Bristol Rovers on an initial six month contract with a view to a long term contract. The harsh reality of our financial situation was highlighted today as Kevin Austin is set to sign for Bristol Rovers in a six-month deal. Huge defender Austin had to be released towards the end of last season to slash the wage bill. So hopefully he will be in first team action when Rovers visit the Abbey next season. The league fixture list is to be released on June 10th at 10am.
