Things are beginning to hot up. England steamroll over the Danes 3-0 to reach the quarter-finals, but unfortunately the Irish are on their way home after losing to Spain by a penalty shoot-out.

Prediction League Update

England fully deserved their win against Denmark which sets us up for another early day in the pub this coming Friday.

I am not too sure how much more the kidneys can take, but it will be worth it to see the boys go all the way to the final and come back home with the title of the best team in the world.

Obviously our next opponents Brazil might have something to say about this.

Poor Ireland! They dominated most of the game against the Spaniards, but they just couldn't find that little bit extra to get the winning goal. In the end up it went to penalties and it looked as though most of them had been to the same penalty school as Gareth Southgate. It was rough justice on Ireland, but once again they have done their country proud.

Now that Ireland have gone out, we will be following Spain's fortunes in the prediction league. When you go to make a prediction, as well as the English match to forecast on, their is also Spain's next match to predict on.

It is very close at the top, but there is still a lot of points to play for with some bonus points on offer coming very soon.
