Scott Brown is in the papers accusing Keith Lasley of a “disgusting” tackle on Saturday – maybe he should have looked a bit closer to home!
Brown is claiming in The Sun this morning, "I thought Lasley's tackle on Loovens was DISGUSTING.
"What he did in the first 20 minutes was to try and rile us up.
"His tackle was straight over the ball and went for Glenn's knee. The referee said he did not see it.
"We will give as good as we get. If Motherwell want to go above the ball, and that is the way their manager wants them to play, then so be it.
"We proved we can handle anything anyone throws us. We came away with the victory. That is all that matters."
Did he forget that the first over the ball, straight leg, studs up tackle came from his own centre back Daniel Majstorovic which almost snapped John Sutton’s shin guard.
There were two other players booked in the first 20 minutes for reckless tackles, interestingly both CELTIC players, including Brown himself for a tackle no better than Lasley’s.
Typical of Celtic they cannot lose with any dignity, but even worse they cannot win with any dignity.
Rather than concentrate on themselves they have to have a go at the other side and deflect from what they have done themselves.
