Three big games on the horizon

Jeffers - is he the key?

Stuart McCall said after yesterday’s game that our season would not be judged on the Rangers result but the next three…

What can we reasonably expect from those three games?

Aberdeen at Pittodrie – this will undoubtedly be the toughest of the three games particularly against former management team of Brown and Knox. Since the left they have been on the up and we have been on the slide. They have confidence going through the squad, we don’t appear to have any!

I only hope it is our current short term striker signing who scores the winning goal, Jeffers, and not the one who went to Aberdeen, Blackman – what is more likely, being Motherwell, the latter!!

Accies at Fir Park – at the moment Accies haven’t won in 13 games since they last played at Fir Park, once again we all know what that means!! We also haven’t scored against them in two attempts this season! All the portents for this one don’t appear brilliant.

St. Mirren at Fir Park – Saints have been much more dogged since we last played them at Fir Park, and it may take a bit of a spark up front to unlock their defence and this may just be what we are paying Jeffers to do for us!

I think we will do well to take four points from these games, but not sure where they will come from??
