Well striker Jamie Murphy scored the opening goal for Scotland Under 21s in tonight's Euro qualification play off.

Jamie Muprhy was making his 12th appearance for the Under 21 side, putting him behind only David Clarkson and Lee McCulloch in the list of out most capped players at this level.

He scored the opening goal for Scotland after 19 minutes with a spectacular strike, although Gudmondsson scored for Iceland before the break to make it 1-1 at half time.

The Scots were then rocked with a second for the home side with only 12 minutes left on the clock, the second coming through Ormarsson. But this leaves the Scots with all to play for in the second leg.

The second leg takes place at Easter Rd on Monday night, 24 hours ahead of the A team's clash with Spain. Prices are £8 and £2 therefore there is no excuse to miss out, and cheer on Murphy and the rest of the side.
