Motherwell's much vaunted strip deal with Canterbury is now in disarray given that the UK arm of the company has gone into administration today.
There was much hype ahead of the luanch of this season's kit about moving to one of the biggest kit suppliers in the World only for Canterbury UK to slip into administration today, a month before the new League season even begins!
There was much suspision within the Well support when the launch of the new away kit was pushed back recently and now those fears have been realised.
A club statement said today that there are enough kits in stock for the whole season, even though we haven't seen any sign of the away strip - how can they have this in stock??
This is the latest in a long line of blunders this close season that has the Well support worried ahead of the new season;
1. Too many players allowed to go out of contract at the one time
2. Quinn and Clarkson sold, leaving a new boss with a paper thin squad.
3. Indecision around the departure of McGhee when it was obvious he was leaving.
4. Duff information about travelling conditions to Albania!
Rather than look forward to a new season we are now wondering what can go wrong next, for example will our much hyped pitch be any good??
