West Brom keeper joins on loan

West Brom’s keeper Josh Griffiths has today agreed to join Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan from the Championship outfit.

The England U21s shot-stopper joins Rovers after having succesful loan spells at Cheltenham Town, Lincoln City and Portsmouth, whilst at Cheltenham he won the clubs Young Player Of The Year Award.  Josh also has 13 appearances to his name for West Brom and played in all of West Brom's cup competition and has over 100 League appearances to his name.

Albion have the opportunity to recall Griffiths in the January transfer window, as well as an emergency recall option, if required. Rovers now have three keepers on their books with Jed Ward and Matthew Hall already at the club.
