Things just keep getting better and better over the last few weeks, apart from the blip against that lot from across the park, our form has been nothing short of amazing!!

Coming into staurdays game, all the talk was about Rooney,he was saying how much he still loved the Blues etc and we were more worried about how many he would get considering the form he had been in,so when the game started you could see Everton were sitting far too deep and probably giving United far too much respect.

Valencia on the right flank was causing us big problems and it came as no surprise when United took the lead after 15 mins, rooney picked the ball up in midfield and sprayed the ball out to Valencia who's low cross was'nt cut out properly by Distin and it fell to Berbatov who lashed it in from 6 yrs out.

We all started to feel the worst at that moment and had to listen to the usual bile that comes from the away end "Get to work you lazy twats" "Sign on,Sign on" we all know the ones, but before we could get too depressed, the ball fell to Bilyaletdinov after Saha caused problems and the Russian hit a beautifully swering shot to leave Van Der Sar rooted to his goal-line and Goodison finally woke up!!

Everton certainly did wake up and at times some of our football was brilliant, some great play down the left on 25 mins should of brought a 2nd,Baines was played in and his cross was met wildly by 'Billy',but he screwed his shot over the bar.

Then Rooney was put in and rounded Howard in goal, but knocked it too far and Neville just put a foot in to knock it out,at the other end Donovan should of scored when the ball fell kindly to him,but he mis-kicked completely and the chance was gone.

The 2nd half started quite sluggish really,Osman(who had another great game)went on another jinking run towards the centre of United's box and was brought down, the free kick came to nothing.

After an hour played United made a double substitution and they were starting to have the possesion now,it wasnt till Moyes brought on Gosling, much to the surprise of many Blues sat by me,but what a move it was because with 15mins left on the clock another sweeping move down the left saw Pienaar played in and crossed for the young Danny Gosling to meet the ball first and slot it into the corner,Goodison erupted!!

We all could sense victory,United were then pressing us back and when Rooney won a free kick on the edge of the box,we all sat there petrified, but the shot to a slight glance off Distin and it went out for a corner, then Moyes's next great move,he took off the tireless Pienaar for Rodwell and the sub found himself in space in midfield and just ran at the United defence rounded Jonny Evans and slammed the ball into the corner and ran into the delighted Evertonians to seal a fantastic win.

To think at the start of this month when we thought we wouldnt get anythin,we've got 2 wins out of 3 in the league and apart from that horrible Derby match, the Blues have responded magnificently, now we need to go to Lisbon and put that tie to bed and then go to White Hart Lane next week and hopefully get something there....COYB!!!
